Got this info in an e-mail from a friend. Here is what she said:
"Fred Meyer is having a frame sale until Wednesday. All of their collage frames (basically any frames that holds more than one photo) are 50% off, plus there is an additional 15% off coupon in the add from today. So I got a frame that was originally $21 for $9!!! Just make sure when they ring them up that it takes off the 50%. "
Excellent!
For those of you who are unaware, Costco is currently selling five $20 gift cards for $79.99. So, if you are looking for a savings on a great Christmas gift or want to save on your regular visits this is a great deal. If you aren't up for purchasing that much at once, go in on it with a friend. This is a super great deal!
For those of you shopping for yourselves or the supply drive at TRC:
- Fred Meyer has $12 backpacks this week.
- Walgreens has lots of great deals. Even more if you have the add from the Sunday paper.
A friend told me about this today & I am so excited to try it out. The site is www.thegrocerygame.com and for a small fee they will give you a list of all the advertised and unadvertised sales at your grocery store of choice and any corresponding coupons that have been or are in the newspaper for clipping. They are doing all the work for us!!! The list is also color coded to indicate items that are to be stockpiled, cause they will never get lower, as well as those that are FREE after sale and coupon. I love it!
The cost is about $5 a month, but you can try it out for four weeks for $1. My friend has already saved close to $80 in one shopping trip. Hello! Had to let you all know.
Here is one forwarded to me from a fellow bargain hunter:
Okay, so BB&B mails out 20% off coupons all the time. I assumed you could only use one at a time & toss them when they've expired. Well, I found out yesterday that you can use up to 5 at a time (on seperate items) and they NEVER expire! Hello! So, don't toss 'em, stock up for wedding season :-).

This calendar was sent to me in a friend's monthly e-zine. You can check him out at http://www.hometownlending.us/aaronanderson if you're going to be acquiring a mortgage any time soon.
Howdy fellow hunters!
I had the most awesome purchase party today. I stopped by the Monroe Fred Meyer and they were having a sidewalk and inside sale of 40% off the last clearance price. There are clothes for all genders and sizes, even shoes. It was stellar! I was able to get clothes for the kids to wear next summer, some dress shirts for Nash and a few shirts for myself. There is nothing better than starting the summer off by opening up the storage tub full of clothes you got super cheap last year, instead of having to buy them all at full price then. I also purchased an adorable gift for my friend who's about to have a baby. If you know someone who's expecting, and you live near by, this is a great chance to get more for your money for them :-).
Also, a friend reminded my that Aaron Brothers is currently having a buy one get one for a penny sale. This is a great chance to stock up on frames to give pictures in, or frame some prints you've been waiting to. The best is to get two frames around the same price, so you get the most for your money. Their canvases are included in this sale.
Happy hunting!
Here's one a friend sent my way. I love it that we can all share where to save here. I'd love it if y'all would let me know if you find a great deal.
"I just came across the Victoria's Secret Sale. The body spray/lotions/shower gel etc... are on sale for $2.99 each if you buy 10. If you buy less than 10 it's a bit more, but still at a discounted price of at least 50%."
There you have it. This is a great opportunity to stock up for bridal showers! These are always a great gift for friends/ spouses/ etc.
Fred Meyer has a selection of DVD's 3 for $9.99 and several others for under $10. This is another great gift option. I recently picked up a discounted copy of "Pretty In Pink" for my sister. We watched it, along with "Better Off Dead" and "Breakfast Club" about a hundred times in one summer. It was a fun gift to give for no reason at all :-).
What are some movies you have watched over and over again? Some of them were so cool then, but when someone sees them for the first time now it's just not the same. This was the case for Nahshon with "Red Dawn." How can you not love the Wolverines? Then there are the ones you don't remember being as inappropriate as you feel they are now. Funny how things change when you have kids of your own.
Happy Hunting!
Yes, we are back from the road trip & I will attempt to get some photos and post up about it shortly. Here is a tip a friend sent me. These prices should last through Monday, since grocery stores ads run Tuesday to Monday. If you know you're having a party any time in the near future, this is a great time to stock up.
I just went to Safeway and their pop is WAY on sale. For coke its buy two 12-packs and get 3 free. So it’s 5 half racks of pop for $10.98. You can get up to 6 free so I bought 10 for $21.96. Good stocking up for summer parties.
Then Albertsons has Pepsi products on sale but since I usually don’t buy those I don’t remember them off the top of my head. I think they were $2.40 for a 12-pack.
I saw on your blog you had the Target prescription transfer deal, Safeway sent out a coupon with their weekly ad that if you transfer or have a new prescription you get a $25 dollar gift card. They had several places on there like Gap, Starbucks, Home Depot, etc…
